Progress!

The 2 patients - Grandma Patty had her middle toe amputated this week and Maren (well, you know the story). Grandma Patty is doing well - she is certainly glad to have the surgery behind her.

Before - Main Room

After

After - still a little pile behind the couch (don't look)

Before floor in Maren's desk area, hand painted

by the resident rookie faux painter, Ms Lisa -el cheap-o

After floor - by the professional installation team of Chuck and Scott. A much more refined look.

Sorry that deleted post was from me...I spelled something wrong :(

Anyway...I love the finished look! We'll barge in with dinner some time to check it out!

Any donation of food is welcome - but I think it's our turn to treat. We are having a HUGE garage sale on the 15th, so if you have anything to add, bring it on!

I recognize that coke sign..seems like it has a twin here in Sweden. The faux painting was cute but the new floor looks good too. The couches match your wall perfectly. You might have to put a patent on that old looking closet..I have already heard rumors of a canadian wanting to copy your look! (hi radtarves..you can comment here too sometime too!)
For the 15th you can hang a sign around Scott's neck saying 'free to good home, hard worker, eats mostly proteins, has been known to claim food is just tearin' him up' (even if it's just water and dry bread) Glad Gramma Patty is on the mend (Mare too!)
