Notice there is no picture of Stennie getting on the bus - that's because he is DRIVING to school. Another difference - Sten did not lay out his clothes the night before, I think he grabbed them off the top of the heap in his room. Sten did not neatly arrange his backpack with all his new school supplies nor invite friends over to check out his cool new pencils. He threw a pen in his pocket, assumed there was still paper in there from last year and was off . . . is it a boy thing, a Sten thing, or is it a general nausea about school?

Yes, I guess the enthusiasm about the first day of school has more to do with seeing all of your old friends than anything else at his age. I can see the girls all excited about their new school supplies. Ours have varying degrees of excitement about their new things. They are getting more picky about what they like with time too. Liam is still very excited about just about anything. Alinya talks about going to school already and gets her backpack ready and thinks she really is going. Two more years for her of waving her brothers off before she can go herself. Hannes will be starting 7th grade when his baby sister starts kindergarten.
We need water polo pictures and soccer pictures from both of you.
