Eew nasty, this isn't exactly my taste, but I was searching for a rectangular frame at the GW for this project . . . I think the GW is onto people like me because their interesting frames are getting outrageously priced (I think I've said this B4). 
I painted the frame black and sanded the edges to distress. Just as a trial, I sanded the lettering on the paper and it actually worked OK. I love this saying - out of a book I borrowed from a friend.
